EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THIS COURSE

This programme aims to equip learners with the necessary knowledge and skills for a career in tourism with the focus on the travel sector, upon completion of the 18 month theoretical component, students must complete and 18 month practical component by working in the tourism industry. This ensures that students are well prepared to face the world of work as an employee in the tourism industry.

Requirements for current grade 12 learners

  • Matric Certificate / with exemption will be more beneficial
  • Compulsory Subjects: English (40%) and Maths / Maths Literacy (50%)
  • Minimum aggregate (excluding Life Orientation) (40%)
  • 40% minimum for all subjects

Requirements for NCV level 4 students

  • Minimum pass requirements for National Certificate Vocational entry must be met.
  • English 40%
  • Minimum aggregate 45%
