EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THIS COURSE

The Tourism certificate programme covers tourism, principles like tour guiding, four operators and game rangers together with public relations related vocation in the tourism and hospitality industry by integrating theory with practical skills and values. Once you have completed level 4 you would have the option to study further full time toward a National N Diploma in Report 191, or apply for a National Diploma at a University of Technology full time.

Requirements for level 2

Grade 9 with a minimum pass with:

  • Mathematics
  • English
  • Life Orientation
  • Any other 4 Subjects
  • Obtain a minimum 40% for Numeracy in the College placement test for Grade 9 learners
  • Obtain a minimum 40% for Literacy in the College placement test for Grade 9 learners
