EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THIS COURSE

This programme covers heavy current overhead power lines as well as domestic civil and industries. Furthermore, it also covers light current in the form of digital and electronics in the communications, industrial electronics and sound engineering fields, as well as instrumentation. This programme integrates academic knowledge and theory with practical skills and values. Once you have completed level 4 you would have the option to study further full time toward a National N Diploma in Report 191, or apply for a National Diploma at a University of Technology full time.

Requirements for level 2

Grade 9 with a minimum pass with:

Mathematics
English
Life Orientation
Technology
Natural Sciences
Life Sciences

Obtain a minimum 50% for Numeracy in the College placement test for Grade 9 learners
Obtain a minimum 40% for Literacy in the College placement test for Grade 9 learners
